
Neha Kohli is a Toronto based Indian-Canadian screenwriter, actor, improviser and sketch comedian. Her original half hour comedy-drama, The Magnificents, about an immigrant family who happen to be superheroes, is currently in development with WildBrain. Additionally, she is also the co-creator of a half hour comedy-drama that is currently in development with Break the Room Media and being executive produced by Sameer Gardezi (Modern Family, Hot Mess Holiday). Neha has written for shows in development and production by companies such as Cartoon Network, Shaftesbury, BBC Kids, Epic Story Media, WildBrain and Fresh TV. Most recently, Neha was a Staff Writer on season 2 of FloQast’s PBC (guest starring Danny Trejo, Kate Flannery and Creed Bratton). Currently, she’s story editing on the upcoming reboot of Total Drama Island. She has performed sketch comedy for TEDx Toronto and also co-wrote and co-starred in the critically acclaimed 2019 Toronto Fringe Show Woke ‘N Broke. Neha is the co-producer of Mirchi Comedy (formerly Yas Kween), the oldest comedy show featuring women of colour in Toronto.
