Neha Kohli recently quit her job of being an accountant to pursue her dreams of not being an accountant (read: screenwriter, comedian, actor).
She is a graduate of Second City’s Conservatory Program and recipient of the 2018 NBC Diversity Fellowship. Neha was part of the cast of the critically acclaimed 2019 Toronto Fringe Sketch Show Woke ‘N Broke. Neha co-wrote and starred in the Luminari ad I Am A CPA – Rant (that went viral…with accountants).
Neha is the co-creator of a comedy-drama about two aspiring magicians which is currently in development with Paul Feig’s Break the Room Media. Her original comedy-drama that is executive produced by Lisa Baylin (iThentic) about an Indian immigrant family who happen to be superheroes is currently in development with WildBrain. She is also currently a writer on a few kids animated shows in development at some of the most reputable production companies in Toronto.
She was part of the cast of the critically acclaimed 2019 Toronto Fringe Show called Woke ‘N Broke.You may have seen Neha host Shopify’s NEW MONEY YouTube series. Perhaps you saw her performing at the 2019 Toronto Tedx Conference as one half of sketch comedy duo She’s All That. Or maybe you saw her crying during the summer of 2005 when Dumbledore died.
